Information below for arriving guests, valid throughout the year.

Below you will find important information about your arrival, accommodation and stay at Resort Mlýn Karolínka. This information is valid all year round.

To make your arrival as simple as possible and without unnecessary waiting, the standard check-in at our resort is completed conveniently online through the Alfred system.

Two days before your arrival, we will automatically send you an e-mail with all important arrival information and an invitation to complete the online check-in. The process is simple and can be completed comfortably in advance from your phone, tablet or computer.

After completing the online check-in, you do not need to wait at the reception or fill in any details on site upon arrival. Your access details will be sent to you automatically on the day of arrival at 8:00 in the morning.

The access codes become active only from the official check-in time, meaning from the time when your room can be entered. They are not active before that time.

Upon arrival, you can therefore go directly to your room and complete everything without unnecessary waiting.

Accommodation 

Resort Mlýn Karolínka consists of two buildings:

Building A – Mlýn
Building B – adjacent building

Exact information about your room, arrival and access to the building will be sent to you automatically by e-mail before your arrival.

A card for activating the electricity in your room will be prepared for you, together with an information leaflet. In the leaflet, you will also find your personal Kiosk PIN, which is used for ordering services and consumption within the resort.2

Arrival is from the lower part of the building, from the river side. Navigation may be inaccurate, so we recommend using the GPS location sent to you before your arrival.

Check-IN

Arrival and room access are possible from 2:00 PM.
In July and August, from 3:00 PM.

If you are interested in an early check-in, please select this service when making your reservation. The reception will confirm by the following day whether this option is available for your selected room. If early check-in is not possible, the fee will be automatically refunded.

If you would like personal assistance with check-in at the reception, you can select the Assisted check-in at the reception service when making your reservation. This service must be booked no later than 24 hours before arrival. The price is CZK 200 per reservation.

The standard online check-in via Alfred is free of charge.

Payment for your stay

The remaining balance for your accommodation does not need to be paid immediately upon arrival.

It is paid later, ideally the next day after breakfast, when everything is calmer and without stress.

During your stay, you can conveniently charge all consumption and services to your room number. Additional services and consumption are paid upon departure.

Your bill will be ready at the reception from 9:30 AM on the day of departure.

Check-OUT

Check-out is possible until 10:00 AM.

If you would like to leave later, please select the late check-out service when making your reservation. If this service is not possible, the fee will be automatically refunded.

Reception

The reception is available mainly for check-out, billing, remaining payments and any questions from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Bistro

We are opening a new bistro in our resort, bringing you even more opportunities for refreshments and relaxation.

What can you find in the bistro?
You can look forward to quality coffee and other hot and cold drinks, cocktails, milkshakes, desserts and homemade cakes, as well as light meals.

Wellness

A unique atmosphere of relaxation and privacy awaits you in our wellness centre. You can enjoy a sauna with a Swim Spa (a combination of a hot tub and a small pool), which may be reserved for private use to provide the perfect relaxation experience.

We have also prepared a new luxury sauna with a cooling pool, available from February to May and again from September to December.

During the summer months (June to August), you can refresh yourself either in the outdoor pool (Building B) or in the indoor salt-water pool (Building A) with outdoor seating available.

Parking

Guests staying at Karolínka – Building B have parking available directly in front of the accommodation.

Guests staying in the Mill – Building A may temporarily park directly at the entrance to the Mill while unloading their belongings. After unloading, it is necessary to move the vehicle, as this area also serves the public EV charging station for electric vehicles.

At the same time, it is important to keep enough space available for other arriving guests to unload their luggage without restricting traffic in the surrounding area. We therefore kindly ask you to respect the temporary parking policy.

All further information will be available at the reception. Two days before arrival, you will automatically receive your accommodation and parking access code.

Electric vehicle charging station

If you own an electric vehicle, you are in the right place, as a public 2×22 kW charging station is available directly next to the Mill. The charging station is operated by E.ON.

You also have the option to charge your vehicle at a lower cost directly in our hotel parking area throughout your entire stay.
